A marketing portfolio with a personal point of view

Hi! I'm Meharin.

Thoughtful ideas.
Content that feels human.

I'm an MSc International Marketing graduate with Distinction, bringing together hands-on UK marketing experience, fashion social content and a love of a well-considered visual idea.

The selected edit

Different brands. The same care.

A mix of real-world work, independent concepts and a university brand PR project. Each case makes my contribution, the audience and the thinking behind the work clear.

01Real-world workMarketing internship

Nasima's Childcare / Local services / childcare

A clearer digital front door.

April 2025 - April 2026

Supporting a local childcare business with parent-friendly social content, Meta advertising and practical website updates.

The brief

Help a small Enfield childcare business present its services clearly to local parents. The content needed to feel reassuring, easy to understand and consistent with the information on its website.

My contribution

  • Created and managed Facebook content and designed posts in Canva.
  • Ran Meta Facebook Ads Manager campaigns aimed at local parents.
  • Updated website HTML content and imagery through GitHub, including funded-childcare information.

What this shows

Practical marketing support across more than one channel: adapting a message for social, keeping information current and paying attention to the detail that helps a parent take the next step.

02Real-world workSocial content and live presenting

Anzara / Fashion / social media

Bringing collections to the feed.

January 2022 - December 2023

Fashion content and live presenting for a clothing brand, with work across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

The context

Collection content had to make the clothing feel engaging beyond a still product image. Short-form formats and livestreams offered different ways to show the garments and connect with viewers.

My contribution

  • Created fashion content and short-form videos for the brand's social channels.
  • Hosted livestreams and presented collections to an online audience.
  • Worked with formats including Reels, Stories, TikToks, YouTube videos and Facebook video.

What this shows

Confidence communicating a product's appeal, familiarity with platform-specific content and experience working as part of a brand's wider production effort.

Flora / Beauty / social creative

An idea with a natural flow.

Canva concept / portfolio refinement

A flowing-hair visual that turns a simple seasonal message into a recognisable beauty concept.

The creative challenge

Give a local beauty business a simple, distinctive seasonal social post. I wanted the image and the words to work together rather than compete for attention.

The idea

The hair becomes a waterfall: a visual metaphor for movement and flow. A restrained navy-and-white palette keeps the silhouette and brand name easy to recognise.

How I'd develop it

Pair the awareness post with a service-led Story and a clear booking link. I would test the message against a treatment-led version and compare booking-link clicks, not just likes.

Boden / Fashion / seasonal creative

Let the product idea bloom.

Original Canva concept

A dress silhouette grows from a flower, connecting a summer message to the product category in one glance.

The creative challenge

Create a memorable seasonal fashion post without relying on a busy layout. The idea needed to communicate summer and clothing immediately.

The idea

The flower and dress share one silhouette, giving 'bloom' a visual meaning. Green, white space and a short headline make the concept feel fresh and easy to scan.

How I'd develop it

Extend the concept into a product-led carousel using approved collection photography, ending with a 'Shop summer dresses' call to action. I would compare product-page clicks and saves across the creative versions.

The Cheeky Panda / Consumer goods / brand communications

Making a big message feel approachable.

University brand PR exercise

A two-sided brochure concept exploring how a playful brand voice can make an environmental message more engaging for a Gen Z audience.

The brief

Create a university brand PR concept for The Cheeky Panda, balancing an environmental theme with the brand's playful personality and a young audience.

My contribution

Created the brochure concept in Canva, combining panda illustrations, bold green-and-orange sections, explanatory copy and calls to action across two sides.

What this shows

Thinking beyond a single social post: organising a longer message, adapting brand tone and building a visual sequence from an opening idea to a reader action.

The person behind the edit

Creative by instinct.
Thoughtful in practice.

I enjoy finding the small connection that makes a message click: a flower becoming a dress, a helpful answer for a parent, or a product brought to life on camera.

My experience spans fashion social content and a UK marketing internship. I'm now looking to bring that mix of creativity, communication and practical follow-through to an in-house marketing team.
